About Us

Living Design Interiors is a full-service interior design firm with a strong focus on bringing style and comfort to residential and commercial interiors.

Whether it’s a dream home, remodeling a bathroom, an office or a retail space, we provide professional innovative design solutions incorporating the client's design needs while addressing their styles, choices, and desires AND staying within the budget we have been provided.

The design team at Living Design Interiors supports the Aging in Place concept – the idea that most elders should be allowed to live out their lives in their own homes rather than being forced into assisted living or nursing homes. We are qualified to assist and perform home modification services that result in practical, functional and attractive changes that provide a safe and secure environment for the homeowner.

Living Design Interiors is deeply committed to the concept of Universal Design – the design of products and environments to be usable by all people, to the greatest extent possible, without the need for adaptation. We offer practical design solutions, with design features that blend seamlessly into home designs.

Who We Are

Beppie Mostert, President and Designer
Beppie is a well respected interior designer, based in Southern California. She specializes in residential design and remodeling, specifically in bathrooms and kitchen. Her projects include residential remodels, interior transformations and re-design for both commercial and retail interiors. An ability to collaborate with architects, contractors, clients and deliver results on time and within budget has earned her a well deserved reputation as a true professional.

Her understanding of space concepts and conceptual design has won her a number of showcase projects. She has participated in the ASID Showcase at the San Diego Home Show, focusing on eco-friendly and sustainable design. She also participates in community projects such as the annual Vista Holiday Home Tour and Habitat for Humanity projects.

Born and raised in South Africa in a Dutch family, Beppie has traveled extensively and contributes a knowledge and understanding of architecture and designs from around the globe to her projects. She has studied internationally and has completed various academic programs in South Africa, Europe and the United States.

Beppie is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP BC+D). With the strong emphasis on incorporating green design coming to the fore in many new building and re-modeling projects, the LEED Professional requires a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles that result in reducing carbon footprints & emissions, increased efficiency in lighting & heating, reducing water usage and approved site & materials usage amongst other improvement areas.

Beppie recently added the WWYW accreditation to her services. WWYW (Wellness Within Your Walls) is basically the solution to affordable, accountable and achievable healthier interior environments. We serve as the bridge between the consumer and the design/build community to focus on providing education and solutions for a healthier interior environment.

Recognized for her creative and pragmatic approach, Beppie’s work has been featured in San Diego Home and Garden, Union-Tribune Coastal Homes, and Décor and Style magazine. Her projects have been awarded for her designs in kitchen and bath design as well as lighting design. Beppie is a Past Director of Membership of the San Diego Chapter of ASID and is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist–a specialty that earned her an award in the ASID Excellence Awards for Universal Design.
